About Prosperity Cross

The Prosperity Cross was developed with the mentality that you become what you think. Society has programmed us to want more and more. When one dwells on the worldly things they lack and seek more and more they can be sucked into a black hole that cannot be filled no matter how much is put into it.

Prosperity starts with appreciation for everything we have including material goods, special talents, and even the painful experiences in life that make us stronger

One of Jesus' most famous miracles is the feeding of 5,000. Jesus shows abundance by turning two fishes and seven loaves of bread into enough to feed 5,000 and STILL has plenty to spare. This miracle starts with one very crucial ingredient: gratitude. The Gospel states: "Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then He gave them to the people" (Mathew 14:3). Jesus gives thanks and praise for the little He had and then produced abundance. He did not give God an ultimatum of "make these enough to feed 5,000" and then I will give thanks.

Being thankful for all that we have is the key to happiness.

The Prosperity Cross imitates the example that Jesus Christ gave with a Celtic design that includes a ring of bread and fish at the crossbeams. The cross is designed to remind us, every time it is touched or felt, to give an immediate prayer of Thanksgiving to God for something He blesses you with in your life. When one embraces this gift you will find that God has put prosperity into your life. When we give thanks for what we have, God continues to complete our lives.

The Gospels remind us of the power of gratitude in the parable of the Ten Lepers: "And it happened that as they went on their way they were cured. One of their numbers, when he saw that he was cured, turned round and praised God at the top of his voice, and then fell on his face before Jesus and thanked him. This man was a Samaritan. And at this Jesus remarked, "Weren't there ten men healed? Where are the other nine? Is nobody going to turn and praise God for what He has done, except this stranger?" And He said to the man, "Stand up now, and go on your way. It is your faith that has made you well." All ten lepers were healed but Jesus said the one who returned and gave thanks was the only one that was truly made well. God does not just heal the body as any doctor is capable of that. God heals the soul and gives serenity; something only He can do.

Our cross is not for the faint of heart because it involves turning away from worldly mentalities and changing the way that one thinks. This can be traumatic as change is not something humans like to do. Change involves us ceasing to be the person that we once were. "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" - John 3:3.

If you are ready to make this change we encourage you to give thanks to the Lord for what you have, ask that church-going friend if you can visit on Sunday or find a local church, and learn more about God's desire to complete your life.
